Saying goodbye to our d litter

Saying goodbye to the puppies we’ve cared for since conception is never easy for us. During pregnancy, we always worry that Jezebel hasn’t eaten enough and usually make her a late night meal (even when we know doesn’t actually need more food). Also during the pregnancy we give her prenatal vitamins, fish oil, raw beef, organ meat, and peanut butter; anything to help the puppies be as healthy as possible, and for us to feel like we’re doing everything we can to care for them.

As they got older and were able to see, walk, and hear, we began the socialization process. We were blessed to have many willing families that came over to handle and play with the puppies.

We say all this to illustrate how much absolutely adore and care for the puppies we blessed to have.

From the moment of birth until 3-4 weeks, the puppies are not left alone for a second, either Nichole or myself are constantly with them 24/7. Many nights of split duty, making sure every pup gets to nurse until all their little bellies are full. Making sure they were never dirty, and would hand clean them with baby wipes when Jez was too sleepy.

It is one of the greatest feelings we have as breeders when we look at all the homes the puppies went to, and can say that they’re all perfect. We are so lucky to have such amazing homes for all the pups.
Thank you so much to all you wonderful puppy parents. Thank you for giving your puppy so much love, care, and making them a part of your family. Thank you for being such wonderful parents to them. We are so grateful that they all have excellent homes.

It’s so hard to say goodbye, but knowing they’ve gone to such fantastic people makes it easier.
