About Novella
Novella was the mother of our Jezebel.
Novella was born in Serbia and was a champion schutzhund dog before moving to the states.
We adopted Novella after she whelped her last litter (Jezy's litter) and she enjoyed her retirement with us. Novella spent her remaining days happily relaxing and playing with Jezebel. She was often called "gran" or "granny" and was our ol' reliable (would follow any command no matter what), faithful friend, protector, and beloved sweetheart.
Novella passed away at an old age from natural causes and we miss her dearly.
Novella's favorite activities included: being with children, napping, biting the bite sleeve, watching horses, and hiding bones throughout the house (only to forget about them which always made us laugh).
Her protection instincts and training were phenomenal. Her mothering instincts were even better. Novella loved babies and children and was always gentle and beyond patient with them.
Novella was the most affectionate, kind, sweet, and loving dog. She was happiest when she is being loved and pet, which we were happy to constantly provide.
It was a pleasure to be her final owners and to love this girl with our whole hearts!
