Beatrice & Auchumpkee Creek Covered Bridge

We took a trip down to south/central Georgia to take a look at a piece of property and stopped by the Auchumpkee Creek Covered bridge for lunch and photos.
The first spot was a piece of property we wanted to look at close to the bridge. Mostly window shopping, but it never hurts to look! Beatrice loved running around and even took a close up look at a wildlife game camera. I'm not sure how she kept walking through spiderwebs and getting them on her nose, but every time she ran back up to me she had another web.

I'd like to take a moment from the riveting story about our half-day trip to comment on how beautiful Beatrice is turning out. Such a feminine but strong head and body. Especially from the front you see he power in her shoulders and neck, and the intelligence in her eyes. She's truly such a excellent standard of what a European Doberman female should look like. We're so happy she's part of our family and breeding program.

We hiked the property and it ended up not being what we were looking for. Off back to the car and to the covered bridge, European Doberman Beatrice in tow.

The bridge was a quiet, quaint little spot with a single stone picnic table. From what we read you used to be able to drive over the bridge but that is blocked off now. We had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and let Forrest run around with Beatrice (she is very fast, Forrest is very slow so he can't keep up). We got a few keeper photos with Beatrice as well, then packed up and headed from home!
