Shipping & Delivery Options

The majority of our puppy buyers pick up in person - that's our preferred way to get your new European Doberman puppy to you. However, that's not always an option. For those that in-person pick up is not possible, we have two options to choose from: Airline Cargo Shipping or Hand Delivery.

Airline Cargo Shipping

Airline Cargo Shipping is the most common choice as it's usually the most painless logistics wise and price-wise. Typically, shipping a European Doberman puppy without their ears cropped (if our veterinarian crops the ears, we have to wait until they are older and weigh more - the airlines charge by weight), usually costs $800.00.

Airline logistics can be complicated by the time of year here in Georgia. In around 2018, United's cargo had a few short-snouted dogs pass away from heat stroke they were shipping via cargo. Since then, all airlines have stringent rules on when they do and don't ship dogs in cargo. The restrictions make summer shipping challenging based on the high temperature here in Georgia.

Due to COVID-19, the majority of airlines have stopped shipping pets via cargo - hopefully this changes soon. Currently, our puppies are eligible to ship via American Airlines Cargo.

Hand Delivery

If need be, we can drive your puppy to your home. This has several advantages over airline cargo shipping. The first being that a road trip is significantly less stressful for your puppy than airline cargo. The second is that we get to meet in person. The third, is that if our veterinarian cropped the ears, we are able to show you in person how we take care of the aftercare/posting.

Availability varies; if this is the type of shipment you are interested in, please let us know early on so we can make plans/let you know if it's available. Price varies on location and time of year, so ask for an estimate, but expect the price to be around $5.00/mile.
